Although her early years were spent in Galveston, by the time she was school age, her family had moved to the mainland (Dickinson and League City). She was a Wisconsin Badger season ticket holder for over 50 years in football, basketball and hockey. She loved their cruises and family vacations and time together at the lake. Donning her Bogs and gloves, Nancy welcomed any challenge. Nina Jean Sams, age 83, of Johnson City, Tennessee passed away on Monday, February 6, 2023 at the Johnson City Medical Center.
